- Excellent resistance to heat and corrosion
- Ideal for thick multipass protective coatings and rebuilding of large surfaces
- Slag-free highly crack resistant ductile deposits, which are easily machinable
- Recommended as buffer layer for harder cobalt-based alloys
- Superior arc stability (especially with pulsed arc) gives very high quality weld finish and no spatter
